Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider. Service partners (stylists, salons, photographers) additionally provide business details such as salon name, service areas, and the services/pricing they offer.

Profile photo. If you choose to add a profile photo, we access your camera or photo library only for that purpose, with your permission.

Booking information. When you book or provide a service, we collect the service type, date/time, price, payment method (cash, recorded for the booking record — we do not process or store card details), and, for home-visit bookings, the address you provide. This information is shared with the relevant customer or partner so the booking can be fulfilled.

Communications. Messages you send through in-app chat or support tickets, including their content and attachments, so we and the relevant partner or support agent can respond.

Device and push notification data. We store a device push-notification token so we can notify you about booking updates (e.g. a confirmed or cancelled appointment). We do not access your device's precise (GPS) location.

Usage information. Standard technical data such as app version, device type, and crash/error logs, used to keep the Service reliable.

• To create and manage your account, and authenticate you when you sign in
• To process bookings between customers and partners, and keep both parties informed of status changes
• To send booking-related notifications (confirmations, cancellations, reminders)
• To provide customer support and respond to messages or complaints
• To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Service
• To meet legal or regulatory obligations

We share the minimum information necessary for a booking to work: a customer's name, phone number, and (for home visits) address are shared with the partner fulfilling that booking; a partner's business details are shown to customers browsing the marketplace. We use the following service providers to operate the app, who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivery of push notifications
• Google / Apple — if you choose to sign in using those providers

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 6.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls that restrict who can view or modify your data (row-level security on our database). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

Access and correction. You can view and update your profile information directly in the app at any time.

Deletion. You can permanently delete your account and associated data (profile, bookings, reviews, messages, notifications) from within the app's account settings. This action is irreversible.

Notifications. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Glow Space is based in the United Arab Emirates and your information may be stored and processed there or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection wherever it is processed, consistent with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by updating the “Last updated” date above.
